Josephian staff members lately received fire- safety  guidance followed by  a   demonstration drill from the Chandigarh Fire Station, Municipal Corporation,  Sector-32.

Mr. Baljinder Singh and his team robustly guided the faculty members  with the aim of  to  be cautious  towards fire safety issues and also  create a safer and secure  environment for ournstudents and ourselves.

The interactive session highlighted the various preventive measures that one must follow during the fire breakout. The detailed demonstration included briefing the teachers on the safe assembly points and corresponding rules to safeguard one self.

The importance of fire safety was discussed by citing real life examples; use of fire fighting gadgets was also  demonstrated by the team to help teachers promptly  act in time during the fire breakout situation.

This drill encompassed the strategies to stay calm in emergency situations. All the steps can go a long way in ensuring fire prevention in school.
The knowledge of fire safety regulations in schools is essential for all the staff as it will help in  decreasing the chances of fire occurring.

The entire drill was highly informative and empowering and the  teachers took  pride in being part of the school fire prevention and safety program.

The Principal Ms Monica Chawla appreciated the engaging and encouraging presentation of Mr.Baljinder Singh and team . She applauded and said it is  essential to be patient, better – aware , safe and  organised  than to panic and be mismanaged .
