A famous quote reads “Imagine if trees gave off Wi-Fi signals” we had been planting so many trees, we had probably saved the planet.

A very auspicious Planting Peace Tree activity was carried out by the students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School of class 1 and 2 to create awareness and spread the message of saving our planet- ‘Protecting our environment is the need of an hour.’

 Students planted different saplings outside the school campus with respected Principal Ms. Monica Chawla and Coordinator Ms. Shelza Arora.Principal ma’am gave the speech on the benefits of planting trees,how it helps cleaning the environment and uses of medicinal plants.She also highlighted the importance of trees in contributing to the environment by providing oxygen improving air quality, conserving water, preserving soil, supporting wild life and providing shelter, medicine and tools.

The students participated in the tree plantation drive with great zeal and enthusiasm and thus made it successful. They pledged to spread the awareness for growing more trees. The little efforts made by each of us can make a huge difference to the overall environment of Earth.
