Welcome Day was celebrated in Kindergarten Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Secondary School, Sector 44D, Chandigarh. To welcome the students, classrooms and garden area were decorated with colourful balloons, buntings and soft toys. They played and danced to the tunes of peppy songs. A welcome note was also given in the diary along with the cutout of a Mickey Mouse. A general question & answer session was conducted with the students. Children got acquainted with their class teacher, classroom and classmates.

To make Best out of Waste, Table Mat Making activity was conducted for Pre-KG students. Their handprints were taken on a folded newspaper bearing their names on it. Then it was decorated with a glitter tape . Children enjoyed making table mats on their own. Candies were distributed among students before dispersal.
