Josephians assembly conducted in the school, students of Classes I to 10^th at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh were felicitated with medals and certificates for the competition organized under the aegis of the Rashtrabhasha Vikas Parishad and the Mahatma Gandhi Rashtrabhasha Hindi Prachaar Sanstha.

These competitions were held in various categories such as Sulekh, Nibandh and Ques/Ans etc. Around eleven hundred josephians , participated and were duly honoured by the organization. These medals and certificates were conferred  upon the winners by the memebers of the management – Director Mr. Rupinder Singh, Mrs. Harjinder Kaur, Mrs. Lilly Sebastian and Principal Ms. Monica Chawla.

The institution was awarded the adarsh Paathshala Puruskar which was received by the Director Mr. Rupinder Singh while Ms. Monica Chawla, was awarded the Adarsh Pradhanacharya Purrushkar. Two members of the Hindi faculty, Ms. Anita Gareja and Ms. Laxmi Chauhan were given the Rashtrabhasha Gaurav Purushkar and the Adarsh Rashtrabhasha Shikshak Puruskar, respectively.
