India has an extraordinary, vast and diverse pool of cultural heritage and ancient monuments which are reminiscence of living witnesses of the golden historic era. They are the epitome of courage and testimony to evolution.
Government has passed many laws to protect these monuments. Besides this students were encouraged to prevent themselves and others from scribbling on the walls, participating in regular cleanliness drives, spreading awareness around about these monuments and their importance.
A little effort on our side can create drastic changes that will make the past, the present and the future generations of the country and the world proud of India.
The main objective behind the speech was to enlighten the students about the value and significance the World’s heritage holds. The students were familiarized with the rich cultural heritage of India and the world we have along with the existing diversification worldwide, and how we need to work towards protecting and conserving it.
“It is not the honour that you take with you, but the Heritage you leave behind.”
