Sports constitutes an important component of any educational endeavor. After all a sound mind needs a sound body and this can be achieved through sports.
Hence it was a proud moment for St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector -44/D, Chandigarh. When the Josephians added another feather to their cap by winning the following medals in the UT interschool Taekwondo Championship which was held from 29th Aug. to 7th Sept.
The proud recipient of gold medals was Pranjal of Class X (U-17) and Anubhav of class VIII.
While the silver medals in U-14 category were bagged by Sanvi of class VIII, Shreya of class VI and Pranav of class VIII.
Bronze medals were bagged by Nandini of class VII, Vaibhav of class X and Damanpuneet of class X.
The Director Mr. Rupinder Singh Grewal and the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the winners and appreciated the dedicated and conscientious efforts put in by the achievers.
