 Armed Force Flag Day marked at St. Joseph’s

A Hindi Debate was held for the students of classes VII and VIII at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh to mark the occasion of the Armed Forces Flag Day. The topic for the Debate was Adhikar Vs Kartavya. Students were apprised of the duties and sacrifices being carried out by out patriots who serve the nation 24 X 7. It is undoubtedly a moment of great pride to see our defence forces smartly attired receiving awards, but it is also important to understand the journey each soldier makes to traverse this path to glory. With this purpose in mind, this Debate was conducted that brought to light the significance of our Duties Vs Rights. It was  a well balanced Debate with the Josephians performing their best having been inspired by the many live examples they see everyday.

The winners of the Debate were Advait and Gunjan of Class  VIII – B, who bagged the First Position with their elocution and debating skills. The Second Position was taken up by Saksham (VII – E) and Shivam (VIII – B) while Saloni (VII – F) and Gursirat (VIII – F) won the Third Position. Consolation was awarded to Tushar (VII – D) and Prajanya (VII – F)
