St. Joseph’s family bid farewell to the Class XII students. The farewell was celebrated with fervour in the school premises as,it was a juncture for the outgoing students to not only look back at the time that they had spent in the school but also incite the formal education that they acquired during the period.
The students were attired to their best. The shindig started with honouring of the students, followed by Mr and Ms. Josephite rounds with segments of elegant ramp walk and question round. The students were witnessed enjoying the games that followed the rounds. Class XII students poured out their hearts during the final gesture envoi. The students portrayed their emotions by inviting their mentors on the stage followed by honouring and appreciating them. Students were grateful to their facilitators for imparting them learning that helped them widen their horizons and also being with them in their thick and thin.
There was a spate of dance and music. Sumptuous lunch was served. Students were bestowed titles under various categories, Shivani Khatkar and Avijeet Singh Bajwa were adjudged as Ms. and Mr. Josephite 2018.The Runner up title was awarded to Eena Hooda and Naval Pabbi. All-Rounder Trophy was bagged by Atithi Kashyap. Head Boy Avijeet Singh Bajwa and Head Girl Navleen were also honoured for their priceless efforts throughout the session. Students were also felicitated for excelling in the categories of being creative, punctual, disciplined and sport star. All the students were gifted mementoes as a token of reminisce by the school.
Class XI students enthralled the audience by performing contemporary dance and bhangra. They took over the entire responsibility for assuring the smooth follow of the event. The teachers blessed and encouraged the students to be achievers in their life.
The Chairperson, Mr. Rupinder Singh Grewal and the members of the Management extended their best wishes to the students and advised them to cultivate the virtue of patience. They also guided the students to not look for short cuts in life as hardwork,smart work and patience are assets for one’s progress. The Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla inspired the students to never forget their moral values, be modest and decent. Ma’am said she was very hopeful that all these qualities will help them stand apart in this materialistic world. She motivated the students to aim at being a person of value before being a person of success.
The event was an amalgamation of chalk and cheese. The students left the alma mater with some great lessons to accomplish their dream, blessings and prayers for a bright career.
