An Inter-House Quiz on ‘Environment’ was organized for the students of Class V by the Primary II Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44D, Chandigarh. The event aimed at creating awareness among the students about the environment related problems like pollution and also to educate them to make optimum use of the natural resources.

Teams from each house participated with great enthusiasm. They skillfully answered the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting. It proved a great learning experience for all of them. Ashoka house was declared as the winner of the quiz.

The principal, Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the winning team and reinstated that “such interactive and competitive events are helpful to trigger the sensitivity of students towards environmental protection and conservation.”
