“ Learning gives creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking povides knowledge, Knowledge makes us Great.”Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative, which provide excitement among the students and also make them aware of current affairs.With this objective in mind, the Primary II Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector- 44 D,Chandigarh conducted an Inter House Science Quiz for the Classes III & IV and Social Science Quiz for the students of Class V in which the fervent participants gave tough time to each other.Both the quizzes comprised of interesting rounds, including objective type questions, visual round, spellbee and rapid fire round which engaged the students to showcase their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. The questions put forth to the team were intriguing and exciting . It was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. The students of Ranjit House, Ashoka House and Raman House were declared the winners from Classes III, IV & V respectively.The principal, Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the winners and said that St. Joseph’s encourages such positive competitions and hopes to bring out the best in all its students through such competitive events, while ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways- not just through books and classroom teaching.
