To make the students acquainted with the Japanese art & culture, a visit to Japanese Garden, was arranged for the tiny tots of Kindergarten block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh. The main attraction was the Pagoda Tower which houses relics and sacred writings of Buddhist faith.  The square shape symbolizes the earth and each level represents one of the five elements i.t. wind, water, earth, fire and sky. Children enjoyed watching the Meditation hut, statue of Buddha, golden bamboo trees & Zen garden.  It was a fun to cross a small bridge located there over a small pond.  They were guided to keep the public places clean and not to litter anywhere rather they should always use dust bins to throw the trash in.
