Kindergarten wing of St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh celebrated its Annual Fiesta “Rhythmic Beats” with a lot of fanfare and merriment. The celebration started with the toddlers of Nursery A, welcoming the parents with their magnetic smiles and lovely gestures. It was followed by the soulful rendition to “Vakratund Ganesha” by the little devotees of KG D, seeking the Lord’s blessings. “Colours of Gujarat” were brought alive by the students of KG A with the tinkling of Dandiya sticks. Little dancers of Nursery B & C and PKG A & E won the hearts of the spectators with their style and moves in “Children of God”, “Movers & Shakers”, “Waves of Happiness” and “Wings of Imagination” respectively. With the “Goan Dance” by PKG B students, everyone travelled the beaches of Goa.Tiny tots of KG E came up with an amazing chemistry in couple dance “Twists & Twirls”, whereas the students of KG B showed their ambition and determination to work hard to achieve success with their inspiraional song “Chhoona hai Aasmaan”. The clown dance of PKG C students took the audience on a memorable journey to “Jollywood” where laughter cures everything. Santa Claus with his troupe of PKG D spread the “Spirit of Christmas” while dancing to the tunes of Jingle bells. The function culminated with the “Beats of Punjab” where ‘gabru & mutiyaar’ of KG C mesmerized all with their power packed performance on medley of punjabi songs.Principal Monica Chawla thanked the parents, appreciated the efforts and grooming of the students by the teachers and applauded the team work, coordination and performing skills of the little Josephians who toiled hard to put up a spectacular show for their parents that they would feel proud of and be a treasure forever.The school has started with an initiative of honouring the parents with “Star Parent Award”.This award was conferred to acknowledge the effort of those parents who offered great cooperation innovation and creativeness in their child’s work child made their child stand apart from others.
