To break the monotony of daily routine and fill the mind with joy, an adventurous trip was organized to an Adventures Resort at Derabassi for the students of Classes IV & V by the management of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh.
It was indeed a thrilling experience for both students and teachers as they were engaged in mind games and adventure activities likeRock Climbing, Bridge and Tunnel Crossing and Jumping Jacks and many more. In order to boost their energy and morale the students were divided into various groups like Rockstars, Tigers, Lions and Chhotta Bheem. The Magic Show captivated the attention of all the children as they were amazed to see the variety of magical tricks. Keeping the taste of students in mind, they were served a sumptuous lunch. To inculcate a sense of respect and care towards the Mother Nature amongst the students they were asked to clean up their surroundings as well before they left the premises.Students were energetic and their beaming faces bore testimony to the fun they had. They returned with a fresh enthusiasm for studies. This visit helped them to relax and rejuvenate their spirits.Ms. Monika Chawla, the Principal of the school exhorted that trips and excursions are a perfect way to expand one’s horizon. Hence we give our students opportunities to explore and learn about what lies beyond the four walls of the school and gain confidence to take on the world.
