 TREES CAPTURED By STUDENTS OF ST. JOSEPH’S IN PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

A photography contest was organised by Ashoka House for the students of class 9 at St. Joseph’s sr. Sec. School- sector 44-D. The theme was- ‘The beauty and magnificience of the trees of Chandigarh’. Out with their Cameras, students ventured in various directions to get the picture perfect shots. Students returned with an array of splendid photographs captured in their cameras. The splash of colour and marvellous hues on some of these trees were amazing. Infact students mentioned of how much they enjoyed as they moved around the city beautiful to get the picture perfect shot. It was a tough task to pick out the best photographs. Finally, Gurminder Singh bagged the first position followed by saachi Jain and Sksham who got the second and third positions. Shivranjini won the consolation prize. The photographs were put up for children to view and see the brilliance of the trees in their city. The variety of many colourful trees being in such abundance that often they go unnoticed by many.
The students at St. Joseph’s captured the beauties of these awesome trees not just in their cameras but also in their hearts and cherished this memory for a lifetime. A beautiful memory of a beautiful city- no doubt.
