Sports are epitome of hard work and determination. With continuous efforts and resolution, the young players of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School unlocked their potential and established the benchmark in 1st British Chandigarh Junior State Rugby Championship organised by Director of sports, Punjab University in collaboration with Chandigarh Rugby Football Association at Punjab University Chandigarh. Boys team bagged the Second Position. Rugby embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action and holistic approach to health and well-being. The winners attributed their achievement to the blessings of their parents and the sincere guidance of their trainers. The School Management and the Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla applauded them for their outstanding achievement and wished them luck for their future endeavours too. She further added that St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School provides a platform to the students where they get an early exposure to learning and competitions. Participation in such competitions helps a student to analyze his performance at the school, city, state, national and international level.
