Fruit Truffle Activity was conducted with great zeal and enthusiasm in Kindergarten Block of St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School Sector 44 D Chandigarh. A variety of fruits was displayed in the classroom and the children were familiarized with their names i.e. apple, pear, pomegranate etc. along with their nutritive value. Later the chopped fruits, mixed in whipped cream were decorated beautifully on round Marie biscuits to make ‘Fruits Truffle ‘. It was prepared by the teachers in front of the children and thereafter tiny tots relished it with their mates. The idea behind the activity was to encourage the students to eat more and more fruits in different ways and develop healthy eating habits right from their tender age.
