It was a moment of great pride when six students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh outshone their competitors in the ‘Robomania’ held at Saupin’s School, Sector 70 Mohali on 13th August, 2019. Robotics is a part of the regular curriculum at the school wherein students get ample opportunity to give wings to their creativity and inventiveness.
Time and time again Josephians have participated in such Competitions and never failed to leave their mark. This time also it was no different.Krish, Rohin and Saurish of class VIII participated in the ‘Tug of War’ Open Source category and bagged the First Position while Abhinav Saini, Abhinav Verma and Rudra of class VII won the Second Position in the ‘Tug of War’ Lego category.The Josephian team of Robochamps were excited to bring laurels to their institution with their winnings. They were felicitated with Trophies and certificates which the Josephians were elated to bring back. Mr. Paramdeep Singh, member of management warmly congratulated all the achievers. She also motivated the winners to always have the courage to achieve their heart’s desire- whatever it may be. She added that she was happy to see that with such competitions, students are encouraged to dispel their inhibitions and get a wonderful platform to showcase their talent.
