“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.”

To explore the poetic talent in kids, a Hindi Recitation Competition for the students of Pre K.G. was held at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh.  The children chose a variety of topics like tree, mother, teacher, beti, butterfly, birds and so on for reciting the rhymes in mother language i.e. Hindi and presented

 with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. They used appropriate props also to make their performance more effective.   This competition was conducted to encourage the children to perform on stage, build up their confidence level and exploit their inner talents.  Tiny tots were adjudged on the basis of the content, speaking skills and expressions.  Everyone appreciated and applauded the power-packed performances of the participants and the audience enjoyed the Rhyme time to their fullest.
