An Inter house English Recitation was held for the students of Primary – 1 at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School. Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words. To reiterate this, children from each house recited the poems with proper pronunciation and intonation. The children enthusiastically participated in the competition as they got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. They used beautiful props to bring out the significance of the poems recited by them. The students were assessed on the parameters such as confidence, voice modulation, props used and the overall presentation.  This also includes heart touching social messages like say No to Polybags, stop pollution with eye catching props. The competition was conducted to expand student’s experience and exposure to poetry. It was heartwarming to listen the amazing poems which indeed was a result of hours of practice.
