The Under-14 Girls Team of St. Joseph’s has brought laurels to school as they won the 2nd place along with a Cash Prize of 12000/- in the Inter School Cash Prize Championship held at Sector- 42, Sports Complex on 4th September, 2019.
Another feather was added to the cap of St. Joseph’s by the under -14 Girl’s Team as they won the 10th Luxmi Arya Memorial Tournament 2019, in the discipline of KHO-KHO, which was organized by M.D.A.V School, Sector 22, Chandigarh on 1st and 2nd November,2019. Around 24 teams from various schools participated in the tournament where girl’s team from St. Joseph’s clinched the title by defeating the team of M.D.A.V, Chandigarh with the score of 4-3.The ‘Best Chaser’ Award was bagged by Vani Thakur of Class VIth and Inayat of Class VIth was honoured with the ‘Best Runner’ Award.
The school management member Mr. Sukhdeep Grewal and the principal, Ms. Monica Chawla applauded the students for their stupendous performance and motivated them to be ever active and constantly mirror their journey to be able to hit the bull’s eye whenever they venture out in the world.
