Josephites to created waves in the Elocution, Essay Writing and Slogan Writing competition to celebrate National Youth Day organized by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute Of Youth Development (RGNIYD),Chandigarh.
The students have brought laurels to their institution by participating wholeheartedly in the category of Elocution on ‘ Role of Youth in Global Peace’ where Shreya Chawla of class XI Sciences bagged First prize, Jayant Sharma of class XI Humanities won Third prize. In Essay Writing competition Ramandeep Singh Sidhu of class XI Sciences won first prize for the topic ‘Channeling Youth Power towards Nation Building’. Sargam Ghai of class XI Humanities receive third prize in Slogan writing on ‘Yuva evam Ranjniti’
During facilitation ceremony Dr. Nandita Singh professor Department of Education, Panjab university recalled the words of youth icon Swami Vivekanand “Arise Awake and stop not until the goal is reached’. Dr. Gurjot professor at RGNIYD opined that only 2% of India’s population is skilled so our youth should take responsibilities spreading and inculcating Fundamental duties and Fundamental rights.
Basking in the glory of success, students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their school and teachers. Worthy Principal madam Ms. Monica Chawla and Director Mr. Rupinder Singh appreciated the sincere efforts and motivated them to keep the flame of the enthusiasm burning and be the change makers.
