KITE FLYING ON BASANT PANCHAMI BY JOSEPHIANS

Man’s inherent wish to fly high and reach the sky would have surely made him invent the kite and fly it high. Kite flying is an inexpensive game and can be enjoyed alone or with a number of people. Adding another blooming bud to the bouquet of activities, ST. JOSEPH’S SEN. SEC. SCHOOL, SEC. 44 – D organized kite flying and kite – making activities on the occasion of ‘Basant Panchami’ for the Secondary Block students. The students participated in the activity with full zeal and fervor. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity, manifested in the form of beautiful vibrant kites made by them. Evidently, the imagination of the students took a new flight, as one could see kites in various hues and shapes. It was an amazing sight to see the colourful kites in the sky.
Students showed their talent and creativity by making colourful kites. They wrote meaningful thoughts ,quotes and messages on the kites beautifully. The aim of conducting this activity is to promote creativity among the students and the result was indeed wonderful. Josephians left their teachers awestruck with their beautiful and colourful kites. On the whole, the activity had a vibrant of colours and most innovative thoughts expressed by the Josephians. Teachers and other staff members also joined the students as a part of the celebrations which created a mood of festivity.
The School Principal Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the efforts of the students and has always encouraged them to be a part of the rich traditional Indian festivals.
