International Women’s Day Celebration
To mark ‘International Women’s Day’ St Joseph’s Sr Sec School, Sector 44 D Chandigarh organised a ‘Road Safety Workshop’ for its teachers to ensure their safety and security on roads.
Road safety is of prime importance as road accidents are among the biggest causes of deaths in the country. With the number of vehicles on the roads increasing with every passing hour, it’s of vital importance for everyone to have traffic awareness and understand and respect all the road safety rules.
Chandigarh Traffic Police, in association with Citizens Awareness Group, conducted a ‘Road Safety Workshop’ for the teachers as a part of ‘International Women’s Week’ celebration under the theme “Choose to Challenge”
Traffic Marshall and motivational speaker Mohinder Kour Katariya sensitized the teachers and encouraged them to motivate all the students also to abide by traffic rules as they are designed to protect all the users of the road.

The members of the management Sukhdeep Grewal and Paramdeep Grewal appreciated and thanked them for their initiative and felicitated them with a token of gratitude.
Chandigarh Traffic Police honoured the Principal with a trophy and awarded participation certificates to all the teachers.
