A  MEMORABLE TEACHER’S DAY FOR THE STAFF OF ST. JOSEPH’S

When the educators are empowered to be the light in their community, to be the leaders and Edu-preneurs, they start pouring into themselves as well as others thus, creating a ripple effect. Teaching, the noblest of all professions, surely saw the testing times in this past year but stood undeterred and continued making a difference to the lives of the students.

St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School‘s Management, as a gesture of goodwill, extended an appreciation to their teacher community by taking them for a pleasant celebration at the beautiful Forest Hill Resort. The teachers were welcomed in a grand and pompous manner by the school Principal. The keynote address marked gratitude for the teaching-learning that continued during these difficult times and appreciating the teachers for the unconditional support offered to their students.

On this occasion, nominated teachers were honoured and awarded by the Management for their laborious efforts and being passionate pedagogues.  Also, an award on the name of one of the Founder members of the school, the Late Ms. Lily Sebastian, was also initiated. This award would be bestowed to the most deserving teacher every year for making enriching efforts in a unique manner. The awards were followed by a short skit on the current trend of online classes which kept everyone engrossed and in splits.

Earlier also during the day an interactive webinar was organized to spread awareness and correlate Dr. Radhakrishna’s Recommendations with the present scenario as a part of blended and interdisciplinary approach of teaching.

The Members of the Management, Mr.  Sukhdeep S. Grewal and Mr. Paramdeep S. Grewal were most appreciative of the sincere dedication offered by the teachers. The Principal Ms. Monica Chawla thanked her entire team who stepped beyond the academic arena to ensure that the best in education is imparted to the young children empowering students. The shindig ended in a vivacious manner on a memorable note.
