One’s world opens up when one travels and sees the world with his own eyes. On the bright occasion of World Tourism Day, our school St. Joseph’s Sen Sec School, Chandigarh celebrated this day by promoting the idea of sustainable tourism.

The theme for the year 2021 “Tourism for inclusive growth” was very well presented by the students through their posters and power point presentations.

A talk show was conducted by class Xl students. Each student was excited to share about different places and countries visited by them.

They were mesmerized by knowing about different experiences of various food, dances, attires and rich culture that added to their knowledge. Travelling to places such as Sikkim was promoted due to the significance it holds in terms of eco-friendly living and initiatives.

The efforts made by the students were appreciated by the Principal Mrs. Monica chawla. She encouraged the students to travel places as this mode of learning is quite interesting, easy and impactful. Subsequently students were encouraged to also give a brief about the great significance that tourism holds for them.
