Celebrating Unity in Diversity
“Every nation has a message to deliver, a mission to fulfill, a destiny to reach. The mission of Indians has been to guide humanity.” – Swami Vivekanand
National Integration is observed every year with an aim of fostering and reinforcing the spirit of communal harmony amongst the people. The day commemorates in reminiscence of our beloved Late Prime Minister, Ms. Indira Gandhi.
The Indians strongly value the diversity, vibrancy and the glory of our culture and take pride in standing together as one nation despite all the adversities. Celebrating the spirit of secularism and oneness, the students of St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School came together to mark the day with a myriad of activities. The day was observed with the students participating in poetry composing, reciting and poster-making, infusing the masses with the spirit of unity and concord. The strong messages shared and highlighted through the posters reminded the Indians of their inherent strength and resilience to withstand all forms of threat to the secular fabric of our country and nurture the spirit of communal harmony.
National integration day provides an opportunity to reaffirm the age old traditions of faith in values of tolerance, brotherhood, peaceful co-existence in a multi-cultural society.
The Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla urged the students to be receptive to all cultures and become the flag bearers of our country’s rich legacy, promoting national integration till perpetuity.
