Hindi Recitation Competition
Moral values empower an individual to perform better with human intensions, motives, acts and relationships with other individuals. ‘Compassion is the basis of morality.’ Keeping this thought in mind, Students of class-2, Primary-1 block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School participated in Hindi Recitation Competition on ‘Moral Values’. With an aim to develop confidence, self – awareness and communication skills. These kinds of competitions help in removing the stage fright.
Students recited the poems on Kindness, Generosity, Honesty, Self-Control and Respect. The competition was organized to explore and encourage the speaking skills and uplift the confidence in the children. The competition was judged on the basis of content, clarity, fluency and overall presentation by the child. Knowing good values at an early age builds a child’s character and makes the child distinguish between right & wrong and good & bad. It can eventually promote rational thinking and unbiased judgment.
This competition inspired the children to come forward, exhibit their talent and confidence. Students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal.
Coordinator Ms. Shelza Arora motivated the children to acquire all these moral values taught by our parents and teachers. She emphasized that moral values are the pillars of success and blessed them with encouraging words.
