CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS AT ST. JOSEPH’S INTEGRATED WITH COP 26 GUIDELINES
“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden”
To mark Children’s day, St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School organized an array of events like virtual talent hunt for students of classes 3rd, 4th and 5th and two days Edu-carnival for kindergarten children.
Students were free to show their hidden talents and explore their skills. Students sang songs, danced on fancy numbers, played musical instruments and even recited poems. Teachers shared presentation reminding students about the significance of celebrating this day and motivated students to always fly high in the sky and never stop chasing their dreams.
As the highlight for this children’s day Josephites also took a pledge to become green saviours by conserving water, natural resources, planting trees, saving energy and becoming waste warriors. They had put their hand prints to create graffiti and wrote their pledges in the imprint for not using single use plastic, inspire neighbours for waste segregation, marking and celebrating occasions by planting trees. This integrated the children’s day celebrations with COP 26 guidelines also.
The management of the school and the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and conveyed her best wishes to all the children who are the strength of the country and the foundation of society.
