School Collaborates for Exchange of Resources and Know-how
“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success.”
-Henry Ford
Settling for nothing but the best, aiming for nothing but excellence was the sole motto when the students of St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh joined hands with Government Model Senior High School, 42-B, Chandigarh. The initiative was undertaken to help the students learn better and to acquire the necessary skills required for the upcoming National Achievement Survey Exam to be conducted by the Chandigarh Administration Education Department and CBSE.
Joint sessions of the students from both the schools were conducted by the mentoring teachers to empower them. The sessions aimed at helping the students gather and upgrade their current knowledge that would help them to attempt the paper with confidence and ease. The exchange of resources and know-how took place under the mentorship and guidance of expert teachers in their respective fields who gave the students and opportunity to explore and research, learn and expand their horizons. Eventually various mock tests based on the syllabus were conducted which were then evaluated, assessed and discussed with students to help them to improvise and elevate their levels.
They say that the tasks are divided and success is guaranteed when we agree to collaborate. The students of St. Joseph’s Sen. Sec. School shared that how the specially curated program was a unique and fulfilling learning experience wherein they not only made many new friends but also felt a sense of contentment, having lent a helping hand to their peer buddies.
The Principal Monica Chawla, a strong advocator of peer and buddy learning congratulated the students for the successful culmination of the program and wished them luck for the upcoming NAS Examination.
