We all know that children love to hear stories. Therefore the teachers of Primary II of St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh started the celebration of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary by telling them about the dedication, bravery, hard work, hope and determination of the great freedom fighter. A documentary based on his life was also shown to explain as to how he struggled to attain freedom for the motherland. Further, the students observed a Paper Reading Activity in the class narrating the important events of Netaji with full emotion and expression as they were soaked in the patriotism after hearing the fearless acts of Netaji.

Such activities truly help the young minds understand the notion of patriotism and humanity and eventually pave the way for being a useful and important citizen of the country.
