Tigers Day Solemnized at St Joseph’s Sr Sec School

‘Fight for the Right of the Tigers’  , To make students aware about the magnificent animal , the most beautiful creation of God , International Tiger’s Day was celebrated by the students of Primary-1 block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School.

It being the National animal, we have a greater responsibility to save tigers. Various activities like Book Mark Activity depicting Save Tiger, Mask making activity and Slogan Writing activity were enjoyed by the students of Primary 1. Students prepared speeches on killing and saving tigers also. Teachers highlighted that the survival of tigers is in the hand of mankind. A small documentary film was shown depicting how the species came and how important is to protect this rare species left all around in the world.

 To enjoy the nature, we must take care of them. Presence of tigers in the forest is an indicator of the well being of the ecosystem and spread the awareness how to save them was an important step taken by these Josephites. Coordinator Ms. Shelza Arora appreciated the efforts shown by teachers and students.
