St. Joseph’s School celebrated the 75th Independence Day with a dignified demeanour

“The Nation is as perfect or imperfect as its people. Let’s make India great by doing our duties and fighting for our rights.” With these powerful thoughts in mind and determination to make our country lead the world by example, St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. The special occasion started with the hoisting of the tricolour by the revered Members of the Management and the school Principal Ms. Monica Chawla followed by the National Anthem and an artistically crafted small yet powerful celebration. The whole school was adorned with buntings and strings of tricolours.

To commemorate the occasion, a special talk show was staged by students who brought back the freedom fighters alive on stage which enthused everyone with a patriotic spirit and a sense of commitment towards the nation. Josephians through their patriotic songs and dances gave a message of harmony and brotherhood. St. Joseph’s News Reporter, RJ, dance displaying the Yoga skills with passion and perfection, The St. Joseph’s Values Kit- a unique set of advertisements to promote essential values, were just a few out of a wide spectrum displaying the student’s astounding talent. The power-packed Grand Finale dance was the icing on the cake. The students reminisced the gift of freedom bestowed upon their generation through singing and dancing and celebrated Independence Day with great fervour.
