St. Joseph’s students bring laurels to the school for the third consecutive year marking ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’
Josephites once again brought laurels to the school by bagging the Second Position in the Cultural Dance Competition organised by Chandigarh Administration as a part of its prestigious 75th Independence Day Celebrations marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at the Parade Ground. This esteemed victory was earned by the school for the third consecutive year. Since dawn, the Parade ground ceremoniously echoed the patriotic glory, adorned the hues of tri-colour, bloomed with the spectacular expressions of the participating dance troupes. Students of government and private schools staged remarkable performances in the competition and mesmerized the audience.
St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School’s high-spirited dance troupe comprising of more than 100 participants flared the stage with their energetic folk dance- Bhangra. Young bhangra maestros vouched to reflect their spirit of jubilance and patriotism in every sway-n- spin.
This was a clear reflection of passion and determination of their team. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the students were praise worthy. Their striking costumes, dance movements and fascinating props infused unparalled synergy into the air and won the hearts of the judges.
The Members of the Management and the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the participating students for their achievement. Applauses were also extended to their instructor Mr Jatinder and Ms. Amarpreet Kaur. The students were also inspired to keep up the patriotic spirit and also the desire to serve the nation till our last breath.
