The teachers and students shared their views and concerns about the environment on World Ozone Day. Topics like discovery of Ozone hole and its recovery, Global weather changes and effects of climate change on environment, Assessment of Ozone Depletion, Ozone Hole- effects and solutions were discussed and became a tool to spread awareness. The good news shared by UNEP- WMO that the Ozone layer is on the path of recovery brought smiles on the faces of Josephites as everyone is participating for the same in one’s own way, however the concerns on the future of ozone could not be driven away from the discussions.

A cartoon documentary telling about Ozone and its harmful effects was also shared with the students and the posters and collages made by the students were showcased in the block galleries.

The management members of the school and the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the synergy of the students as well as the efforts of faculty members for organizing the events on the occasion bringing the much needed awareness. She motivated students to continue to work as the green ambassadors to protect our precious environment.
