St. Joseph’s Bids Adieu to Class XII with Grandeur and Grace
St. Joseph’s family came together to bid an emotional and heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Class XII students. The event, held on the school premises, was an occasion for students to reminisce about their journey, celebrate their achievements, and express gratitude for the knowledge and values instilled in them during their years at the institution.
The students, dressed in their finest attire, graced the occasion with elegance and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a ceremonial honouring of the students, followed by the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Josephite contest, which featured a dazzling ramp walk and an engaging Q&A round. The students enthusiastically participated in various games and activities, adding to the jubilant atmosphere of the day. A poignant moment of the ceremony was the heartfelt expressions of gratitude by the outgoing students. They invited their mentors on stage, honouring and appreciating their invaluable guidance and unwavering support. Their words reflected deep gratitude for the institution that shaped their aspirations and stood by them through their highs and lows.
The event was further elevated by the presence of esteemed management member Mr. Sukhdeep Grewal. His inspiring words reinforced the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals poised to make a meaningful impact on society. He commended the graduating class for their perseverance and dedication, urging them to uphold the values instilled by the school and carry them forward into the world.
The event was further enlivened with a spectacular array of dance and musical performances. A sumptuous lunch was served, and students were bestowed with prestigious titles under various categories, including Mr. Josephite 2024-25, Balkaran Singh (Humanities Stream); Ms. Josephite 2024-25, Aakriti Baghla (Science Stream); Student of the Year, Vaishnavi Verma (Humanities Stream); Difference-Maker Award (Head Boy & Head Girl), Balkaran Singh and Niharika Rana; Spectacular Sportsman Award (International Player), Abhyudya Jaswal (Science Stream); Star Sports Award (National Player), Kanwarpal Singh, Simple, Mannat Verma, Kashvi Walia, and Paras Sharma. Other awards recognized outstanding students in categories such as improvement, discipline, co-scholastic participation, creativity, attendance, integrity, volunteerism, and academic excellence.
Class XI students left no stone unturned to ensure a seamless flow of the event. They mesmerized the audience with electrifying performances of contemporary dance and bhangra, adding vibrance and energy to the day. The Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla, extended her best wishes to the outgoing students, emphasizing the importance of patience, perseverance, and ethical values in their journey. She advised them to shun shortcuts and embrace hard work, innovative work, and patience as the key ingredients for success.
