With a mission to conquer every sphere, a Josephian always remains resolute in achieving beyond limits, in fact they hardly believe in any limits when it comes to seizing opportunities for growth of the intellect. With a keen eye for competition, Silver Zone Olympiad came to the students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44, Chandigarh as a golden chance to expand their horizons and a test of their cognitive mettle in a buffet of subjects ranging across Hindi, General Knowledge, Social Science, STEM and Reasoning.
The opportunity clearly tickled the brains of our young learners as there emerged a significant number of participants bringing the tally to 180 from Grades 3-10. Even our budding business champs took on the challenge effortlessly with 40 participants from 11th and 12th Grades rooting to compete in the Commerce Olympiad by Silver Zone. With a commitment and zeal to engage in intellectually challenging platforms, the determined students put their head, heart and soul into appearing for the exams. The halls echoed with students rigorously practicing for the subjects that they opted, teachers answering their queries and constant motivational talks for our dear competitors to truly realize the magnitude of the chance in front of them.
The result of this mindful conditioning was the receipt of the glorious outcome and what sweet joy did it bring! Within our worthy participants from Grades 3-10, there emerged victorious 20 State Toppers in varying subjects, bringing smiles on the little faces and pride in the heart of our institution. Within our senior advocates of commerce, 6 State toppers arose with a radiant sense of worth in their demeanour and an immeasurable degree of confidence in their capabilities. The halls which once beheld the silent struggles of our scholars were now witness to the fiesta of their triumph.
Our Principal and the management expressed their elation at the wondrous results of our young Josephians and inspired all students to keep exploring such opportunities to challenge themselves. We are truly grateful and indebted to their words of encouragement which have always served as an auspice that we will scale even the impossible with their faith in us. May our young force always prosper with the belief that ambition is the first step to success and the second step is action!
