Claiming Victory once again at the SCERT Exhibition
“If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride – and never quit, you’ll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.”
– Bear Bryant
It’s again the moment of pride and celebration for The Science and Mathematics Department of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh, for adding another feather to their cap by winning the final level of The State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children organized by The SCERT.
It was during the pandemic when almost everything came to a standstill, this innovative endeavour by SCERT gave wings to the creativity of the children. The children under the able guidance of their teachers were able to curate models which were not only innovative but practical in their approach.
The modals were lauded by The SCERT Team and emerged victorious. Palak and Poorvika of Class IX bagged the First Position and were awarded a cheque of rupees five thousand and one hundred. Nirwaan Khanagwal and Manmohit Singh Kainth of Class VII bagged the Second Position and were awarded a cheque of rupees three thousand and one hundred. Each of the participants was also bestowed with a certificate each.
It was surely a time of jubilation for the entire winning team. The principal, Ms Monica Chawla, applauded the diligent efforts made by the entire winning team and encouraged the students to never let die the spark of creativity within them.
