Josephite wins Gold in Interschool Chess Tournament in under -14 category

‘Sports is not a part of education, sports is an education’ is the philosophy that echoes in St Joseph’s Sr Sec School promoting the value of sports in education at all levels in the school.

A team of young Josephites won the gold medal and proved that persistence can change dreams into extraordinary achievement during the Interschool Chess Tournament in under -14 age group held in Chandigarh from July 28-29, 2022

The School Management and the Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the team and the coach’s efforts and the principal quoted Ken Doherty’s words, “The five Ss of sports training are stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit.” to motivate other students of the school to take sports as education and not just a part of it.
