Josephite shines in Chandigarh Senior Athletics Championship.

Sports competitions inculcate the spirit of positive challenges & sportsmanship among the students and prepare them for the life ahead. Incorporating this maxim and the principles of the ‘Khelo India Project’, St Joseph’s makes its mark in the Chandigarh Athletics Championship held at Chandigarh from March 5-6, 2022.

Novjot Singh, a student class XI Commerce grabbed the spotlight in the Chandigarh Senior Athletics Championship by hitting a bullseye in Shotput with a Gold medal and secured the Second position in Discuss Throw by seizing a Silver medal in the Under 18 age group category.

 The School Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla lauded Novjot Singh’s diligence and commitment to his goal and congratulated him on his remarkable achievement. She further said that playing sports inculcate team spirit, develops strategic & analytical thinking, leadership skills, goal setting, and risk-taking among students, and must be incorporated at every level of education to ensure every individual’s holistic development.
