Josephite wins Sub Junior Athletics Championship.

‘Sports is not a part of education, sports is an education’ is the philosophy that echoes in St Joseph’s Sr Sec School promoting the value of sports in education at all levels in the school.

A young Josephite Rajvinder Singh, a student of class III, has proved that persistence can change dreams into extraordinary achievement by winning a Bronze medal in the Sub Junior Athletics Championship held at Chandigarh from March 5-6, 2022.

The School Management and the Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated Rajvinder Singh’s efforts and the principal quoted Ken Doherty’s words, “The five Ss of sports training are stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit.” to motivate other students of the school to take sports as education and not just a part of it.
