YOUNG JOSEPHIAN BROUGHT LAURELS TO ST. JOSEPH’S
Tanish Singh Dadra of Class XII added one more feather to the cap of St. Joseph’s Sen. Sec. School, Chandigarh by winning 3rd position in Memo-o- Mania (Inter-School Meme Competition). The competition entitled ‘Designathon’ was organised by K.B. DAV Sec. 7, Chandigarh in collaboration with Cyber Congress Club. Mr. Sandeep Joshi, the Senior cartoonist, The Tribune was the chief guest of the programme. Memo- o- Mania was a fun competition to encourage students to cultivate their creativity and give a boost to their flair for humour. The ultimate goal of this event was the quest for a meme that is both, relatable and funny engagement. The theme of the Meme was ‘If Aliens Land on Earth’. Tanish used an online meme generator as a software application. The judgement was given based on creativity, originality, artistic skills, thoughtfulness and vocabulary. Apart from this, the emphasis was laid on the candidate’s vision to develop a jocular jewel of a meme and viewer.
The school management and Principal Ms. Monica Chawla expressed appreciation for Tanish’s laudable efforts. She added that these achievements would reinforce the other students also to chase their passions earnestly.
She wished him good luck in future endeavours.
