The students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School of Sector 44-D, Chandigarh have yet again proved that success is where preparation and opportunity meet.
Creating waves in the Roller Skating Championship held by the Roller Panther Skating Academy, the students have brought laurels to their institutions. The event took place on 26th April, 2017 at Decathlon, Zirakpur. Participating whole heartedly in the Championship, Yatin Saini won gold medal in Quad I and Quad II, under 8-10 age group category. Lavya Bhatti also bagged two silver medals under inline category under age group 4-6. Parth Bhatti also bagged two silver medals under inline category, whereas Geetank Khanna settled with two bronze medals in the inline category under age group 4-6 years. When enquired the students about their success mantra they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their school and coaches for tremendous support and assistance. They also highlighted that they make sure to practice regularly without slacking and are able to bounce off ideas and doubts with their coaches, everyday. Principal of the school and Director, Rupinder Singh appreciated their diligent efforts and urged students to keep participating more in such competitions to enhance their performance and to reach a platform where they are their own competitors.
