Karanveer Singh, a student of class VIII at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh created a hatrick of sorts when he brought home not one or two but three Silver Medalswhilst participating in the 42^nd Punjab State Swimming Championship, organized by theMohali Swimming Association. The Competition was held on 11^th June, 2017 at the Mohali PIS Gmada Sports Complex. Karanveer partook in three different events- the Medley 100m, the Relay 200m and the Relay 100m and won himself the Second Position in all three. He received hearty congratulations from Chairman Mr. Rupinder Grewal and Principal Ms. Monica Chawla who also praised his efforts and determination in proving himself a versatile and competent swimmer. She encouraged him to devote regular hours for practice so that he can carve out position for himself at Nationals too.
