She was privileged to be joined by Ms. Dharini Arun, Joint Secretary, CBSE Delhi on this trip. This enriching three-day Training Program, held from January 13th to 15th, 2024, exemplifies the CBSE’s commitment to fostering educational leadership and innovation.

Principal Chawla’s engaging sessions unfolded across diverse schools in Qatar, seamlessly blending expertise with practical insights:

The journey commenced at Podar Pearl School on January 13th, 2024, where Principal Chawla, with her visionary approach, navigated through the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF – FS). This opening session set the tone, emphasizing the foundational principles crucial for shaping students’ educational journey. 60 participants attended training sessions each day

Transitioning to DPS – Modern Indian School on January 14th, 2024, Principal Chawla dynamically delivered Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies, providing a comprehensive understanding of effective teaching methodologies. The session resonated with innovative approaches to nurture holistic student development.

On January 15th, 2024, at Birla Public School, Principal Chawla delved into the transformative aspects of the New Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), shedding light on its implications for educational institutions. This session underscored the educator’s commitment to staying abreast of evolving educational paradigms and realizing the vision of NEP 2020.

Principal Monica Chawla, with unparalleled dedication, conducted six-hour-long sessions each day, tailored for Principals of Qatar schools and potential resource persons. The sessions were characterized by a vibrant exchange of ideas, creating an environment conducive to collaborative learning and growth.

The overwhelming response from participants was the real achievement as they felt deeply enriched for indepth and creative sharing. The sessions, each accommodating a full house of 60 seats, showcased the eagerness of attendees to embrace progressive educational practices.

Beyond the impactful sessions, a visit to the Indian Embassy in Doha added an official dimension to the program. Joint Secretary, CBSE Delhi Ms. Dharini Arun and Principal Monica Chawla met Secretary No. 1, Head of Cultural Affairs & Education, Embassy of India, Doha. It Symbolized the program’s recognition on an international platform, emphasizing the importance of fostering global educational collaborations.
