St.Joseph’s celebrating the achievements of Class X Students at a Prestigious Award Ceremony!

An award ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh to celebrate the accomplishments of Class X students, recognizing their achievements in academics and various co-curricular activities. The event, graced by the members of the School Management, the Principal, Coordinators and teachers commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The students of Class IX extended a warm welcome, setting the stage for a perfect morning.
Deserving students were presented with trophies for their outstanding academic performance and a diverse range of co-curricular pursuits. Notable awards including Most Righteous, Most Respectful, Beyond the Call of Duty and Academic Excellence were bestowed upon the most deserving Josephians. The National players of the school who participated in varied sports like Cricket, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis and shooting were honoured for embodying the highest level of dedication, skill and passion for representing our country on the global stage. Rudranshi Sharma (XA) received the All–Rounder Award. Lavanya Chauhan (XB) was honoured as the best NCC cadet while Noor (XF) was recognised as the most distinguished sportsperson.
The students of Class X shared special moments, reminiscing about their time in school, the bonds with peers, and the guidance of teachers. Educators extended their best wishes to the students, encouraging them to become compassionate individuals capable of transforming weaknesses into strengths, obstacles into opportunities and failures into triumphs.
Vice–Head Boy Hardik Ahuja (XD) and Vice–Head Girl Rudranshi Sharma (XA) expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the institute, acknowledging the invaluable opportunities it provided. This year the school project on ‘Sustainability and Water was chosen at the National level. Josephians who were a part of this project were recognized for their efforts. Another highlight of the morning was the recognition of students who participated in a quiz organized by the Indian National Cartographic Association in September 2023. These enthusiastic quizzers bagged the third position in the Tricity and in the second phase of the competition, they got the fourth position at the National level.
The School Management Members Mr. Sukhdeep Singh Grewal,Mr. Paramdeep Singh Grewal and Principal Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the achievers and commended the seniors for their exemplary leadership. She urged them to view the event as a celebration of their years at the institution, offering valuable advice on balancing family and societal expectations with personal aspirations. Ms. Chawla concluded by wishing the students happiness and success in their future endeavours, inspiring them to leave an indelible mark on society and make the school proud.
The day was a festive tribute to the shared years of friendship and learning among students and teachers. Blessings and good wishes from teachers reflected unconditional love and hope for the bright futures of their students.
