For St. Joseph’s Champs, It was grit, determination and willpower
With the declaration of the class X board result, there was an air of merriment & jubilation in the campus of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh the result was cent-percent & with many students having performed exceptionally well. However, this year was no exception to the previous years wherein, a large number of state and National Level players in various sports categories performed stupendously well.
Younam Kamboj scored and her achievements were :
· Participated in 63rd school national Ball Badminton Tournament
· Winner in U.T Inter school Ball Badminton Tournament
This was the student who toiled for the sports he loved to play and excelled in it, while also preparing for his exams. Not only did Younam Kamboj face the challenge with courage but also worked through it to be the ultimate winner. Such grit & determination shown was acknowledged by the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla, the coaches and teachers of the school. A great learning for he youth–to per severe because therein lies the power. Such brilliant sportsperson lead through example, show the way and inspire many more aspiring youngsters. It was not just an exam for such sports children but great lessons were also learnt – never to quit, to get on track and be closer to your dreams. Kudos to such glorious successes. Such champions are surely made on the playgrounds of schools and no doubt, and their accomplishments prove that they are indeed made of mettle and steel.
