The proverb that hardwork and perseverance put together always bear fruit has been proved in the truest sense by the students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh yet another time.
It was a proud moment for the school when the students bagged multiple prizes and medals at the 2ndAll India Invitational Roller Skating Championship 2017. The event was organised by Everest Sports Academy Ludhiana between 13th and 14th may, 2017 at Leisure Valley, International Skating Rink Ludhiana.
Exhibiting spectacular feat Ishan Panwar won a Gold medal in 100 mtrs and a silver medal in 500 mtrs, Geetank Khanna also bagged a Gold Medal in 400 mts skating whereas Jannat Singh Saluja settled with Bronze in 1000 mts.
The students were drenched in ecstasy having achieved on extra mile with their persisted efforts under the able guidance of their school and coaches. Revered Principal of the School Ms. Monica Chawla and Respected Director of the School, Mr. Rupinder Singh felicited the winners on their stupendous achievement and motivated them to keep the flame of enthusiasm burning and touching new heights of success.
