 Students swept Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in the Annual Juniorthon and Sports Carnival

‘The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in wining. ‘
These iconic words rang loud, clear and true on 17th November when the talented students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector-44 D, Chandigarh swept Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in the Annual Juniorthon and Sports Carnival, organized by Northridge International School Sector-46, Chandigarh.    The jubilant Josephians showcased agility and strength while participating in various events and astounded everyone through their commendable performance.
              The first event of the Juniorthon was 200 meters race in which more than 1000 girls (Under 9-11yrs) have participated  where Shikha from Class VIth finished  2nd and won  a Silver medal. In the age group (3-5 yrs) Aarav of Class 1st secured 1st Position and won a Gold Medal.
In the Obstacle Race Josephians  proved their mettle by securing positions in all the age groups.
Under 3-5 years: Aarav Class Ist  won a Gold Medal, Prajas of K.G.-A won a Silver Medal.
Under 6-8 years: Manasvi  of Class III-C bagged a Bronze Medal.
Under 9-11: years all the finalists were Josephians. Jaismeet of Class VIth won a Gold Medal, Inayat of Class VIth won a Silver Medal and Manya of Class Vth won a Bronze Medal.
    Besides the medals and certificates the students also received many other gifts. Overall the Josephians sweep the board by winning 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze.
                      The school management member Mr. Sukhdeep Grewal and Ms. Monica Chawla, the school principal congratulated the champions and exalted them for bringing such a rejoicing moment for the school by showing extraordinary sportsmanship, determination and perseverance in various events and wished them luck for their future endeavours.
