Children enjoy playing with toys. Toys used as teaching aids make learning joyful ride. Keeping this thought “Ball Day” was celebrated in the Kindergarten Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School Sec 44-D Chandigarh. The Little angels enjoyed playing with balls of different colours & sizes. They did different activities with balls like catching, throwing, kicking, bouncing. These action words enhanced their vocabulary besides recognition of colours & sizes. Concept of round shape was also introduced through this activity where they were taught that our earth is also round like a ball.They recited various playful rhymes with actions. It was a fun filled activity which helped them to learn  new words & actions while playing.
