St Joseph participates in Pariksha Pe Charcha with record numbers.

In its compliance with the CBSE and GOI initiatives, St Joseph’s records one of the highest participation with 113 Teachers, 250 Parents and 745 Students in the fourth Pariksha Pe Charcha Contest 2021.

The fourth edition of Pariksha pe Charcha, the unique interactive program of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with students, parents and teachers will be held through online mode on April 07,2021 by adhering to the Covid-19 protocols. In which a selected 2,000 school students will get an opportunity to directly participate in the event, in order to select 2000 participants for the online event an Online Creative Writing Competition was conducted on various topics during 18th February to 14th March 2021 for children studying in classes 9 to 12 ,teachers and parents.  All the participants received an appreciation certificate signed by the Director of NCERT and selected 2000 students will now be allowed to participate directly in the event of 2021 and shall be rewarded with a special Pariksha Pe Charcha Kit from the GOI.

Following the guidelines, the school displayed various banners of Pariksha Pe Charcha Contest 2021 on prominent places in the school and also during the online classes. Teachers propagated and promoted this significant initiative towards reducing exam stress among students, teachers as well as parents. The school joined hands in celebrating the Utsav of Examinations, Pariksha pe Charcha 2021 in order to bring joy in learning for our future nation builders.

The various topics for Creative Writing Competition for Students included  ‘Exams like festivals, celebrate them; India is incredible, travel and explore; As one journey ends, another begins; Aspire not to be, but to do and Be grateful for teachers. The topic for teachers was Online education system, its benefits and how it can be improved further and Parents  were asked to write on two topics namely ,‘Your words make your child’s world, encourage as you have always done’ and ‘Be your child’s friend, keep depression away.’

The school principal, Ms. Monica Chawla, led the school team from front and was the pioneer amongst the first few parents to register for the contest. She appreciated the efforts of our worthy Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi to be the First ever PM of the country to address the vital issues of the education system i.e. examination stress. She thanked parents and appreciated the overwhelming participation of both students as well as the teachers. She also assured the students and parents to continue with such zeal to ensure a stress free environment at school especially during the exam time by providing a helping hand wherever and whenever needed by our students.
